Our take
Editorial context remains separate from factual specifications.
The Apple iPhone 15 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED, HDR10, Dolby Vision, 1000 nits (HBM), 2000 nits (peak) display with 60Hz refresh rate. It uses the Apple A16 Bionic (4 nm) processor. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB, 512GB. Rear cameras: 48 MP wide camera with f/1.6 aperture. Battery capacity is 3349 mAh, with Wired, PD2.0 15W wireless (MagSafe) 15W wireless (Qi2) - requires iOS 17.2 update 4.5W reverse wired charging. It runs iOS 17, upgradable to iOS 18.6.
The iPhone 15 is still a popular pick in Nigeria, especially UK-used. You get USB-C, the Dynamic Island, a 48MP main camera and IP68 water resistance. On the other hand, it's a 2023 phone with the A16 chip and a 60Hz screen, and it doesn't support Apple Intelligence. Buy it for the price, not the features.
What works
- USB-C charging
- 48MP main camera
- IP68 water resistance
- Often cheap UK-used
What to consider
- Older A16 chip
- 60Hz screen
- No Apple Intelligence
Buy it if: you want a dependable iPhone on a budget, especially a clean UK-used unit.
Skip it if: you plan to keep the phone for many years.
