Our take
Editorial context remains separate from factual specifications.
The Infinix Note 40 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED, 120Hz, 1300 nits (peak) display with 120Hz refresh rate. It uses the Mediatek Helio G99 Ultimate processor. Storage options include 256GB. Rear cameras: 108 MP, f/1.9, (wide), 1/1.52", PDAF 2 MP, f/2.4 3rd unspecified camera. Battery capacity is 5000 mAh, with 45W wired, 50% in 26 min 20W wireless MagCharge Reverse wired Reverse wireless charging. It runs Android 14, XOS 14.
The Note 40 is an older phone, but it still has features you won't find on most new budget phones. You get a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, a 108MP main camera, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and even 20W wireless charging. That aside, the Helio G99 chip is from 2024, there's no 5G, and at an estimated ₦380,000 you should compare it with newer phones first.
